Over time, as bits of info filter their way through to me, I'm hoping to place a link from the alphabetical list to a page just for the man (that'll include photos of the man, headstone, memorial or even the medals) . For example, go to "C" and scroll down until you hit "Coghill" - no info here, but click the link.... you'll see what I mean!
The text is mainly drawn from "The Register of the Victoria Cross" by This England, third edition. Please be aware that this particular book, although handy for general info, does contain the odd mistake.... so any that I come across will be changed.
Also some bits of information has been begged, borrowed or stolen from other sites.
